INFRASTRUCTURE:
One of the reputable and long-standing institutes providing quality pharmacy education for the past 21 years is the Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences (CIPT & AHS). This institution, which was founded in 2002 and is run by academics and professionals, is the second-oldest private pharmacy college in the state of West Bengal. The institute offers an excellent setting for learning because of its lush green campus and peaceful atmosphere.
Our primary instrument room is adequately furnished with advanced equipment, and the machine room is kept in good condition. All the laboratories of our institutes are well equipped with instruments. Further, a research lab was built to conduct a variety of cutting-edge research projects and departmental cooperative projects. To support the learning of the students, our seminar room is equipped with all necessary tools, including an overhead projection device, computer, audio visual tools, and air conditioning.
Learning resources such as texts, journals, software, videos and recording are made available in the library. Journals and periodicals are sources of current information and advances to facilitate and to update knowledge in their domain.
For B. Pharm students and M. Pharm students in the three departments of pharmaceutics, pharmacology, and pharmaceutical biotechnology, the college provides well-equipped laboratories. Learning resources promote self/active learning and the students will acquire skill to analyze, synthesize, which help develop their reasoning ability, creative and innovative ideas.
