Dr. Payal Chakraborty is working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and AHS from December 2023. Previously she served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at the JIS University, Kolkata for a period of 2 years and 9 months. She started her career in association with one of the leading clinical research industry Lambda Therapeutic Research which is a full-service Global Clinical Research Organization (CRO) with its headquarters in Ahmedabad, India and further got extensively engaged with core research work from March 2014 as a Research Assistant in the Institute for Pharmacology at the Faculty of Medicine in the University of Gottingen, Germany. Since 2019 she worked as a Predoctorate fellow and Research Assistant in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, University of Szeged, Hungary and further from January 2021, she worked as the visiting research scientist (in the hybrid mode) at the same institute. Altogether she have 13 years of experience and expertise in the domain of Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology Major interests and scientific works focuses identifying diagnostic biomarkers and analytical techniques to explore the underlying functional, morphological, molecular and pharmacological mechanistic pathways in Oxidative stress Biology, Reproductive toxicity, Neonatal and Prenatal Health Outcome, Nitric Oxide Synthase Signaling Pathway, Vascular comorbidities and Hematological disorders.
